The BESOM helps people make a difference. It provides a bridge between those who want to give time, money, things or skills and those who are in need. It ensures what is given is used effectively. The service it provides is free. Needs are referred from local social workers and other local organisations.

The BESOM in Woking operates whenever timegivers are available.
We often collect or deliver furniture, do small DIY jobs or help with gardens but we get requests for almost anything!  If you are not sure how you could get involved, just ring for a chat about what is going on, or come for lunch in our warehouse on Fridays.  The BESOM never advertises for specific help, the core team simply prays. So if you phone, you could literally be an answer to prayer !

We can also arrange projects for groups to do at week-ends, such as decorating or sorting out a garden.
