We know that going to a church for the first time can be a bit scary. Don’t worry! We’ve been there too and we know that taking that first step is a big deal and can feel a little awkward.
We believe that God really cares about people, so we try to go out of our way to do that too and to make sure that your experience at Christ Church is the absolute best it can be. Everybody is welcome here!
Parking is free at the Victoria Way Car Park for Church attendees. Use the machine in the Cafe area to validate your ticket before leaving the church.
A shorter, reflective Holy Communion service using a modern Anglican liturgy and the Common Revised Lectionary. (The service takes place in the Octagon room on the first floor and is followed by refreshments. Please use the back entrance of church past the car park and use the intercom by the door to gain access.)
This is a lively service for people of all-ages. Expect contemporary worship music lead by a full band, to hear God’s word through talks given by in house speakers or guests and to have the opportunity to pray for one another. Our service is family friendly and relaxed, with puppets for the kids at the beginning. There is also fun filled and exciting Kid’s and Youth ministry. Refreshments are served for everyone before the service.
Turn up early for a drink and a catch up before the service. Our evening services are informal and fun, filled with passionate worship, great talks and lots of time to pray for one another with the expectation of seeing amazing things happen! Everyone is encouraged to stay on and socialise after. The service is particularly suited to young adults.
A traditional service using the Book of Common Prayer (1662) in the Christ Church side-chapel. An opportunity to have refreshments in the TwelveThirty café before or after the service.
