At Christ Church Youth we are passionate about seeing young people coming to faith and living lives all out for Jesus. We aim for an environment of deep community where young people can share their journeys together, making friends and building each other up as they face the challenges that life can bring.
Our weekly program aims to encourage young people in being rooted in the truth of who God has created them to be through deep community, a secure place where people can be open, honest and vulnerable and know the support and love of God’s Church in their lives.
We also have regular events, residentials and socials throughout the year where people can go deep in community, serving, worship, teaching and prayer.
Sunday 10 - 11:35am
Root:10 is where we gather together to seek Jesus, listen to Him, and enjoy spending Church family time. 10:00 - 10:30 is games/hang out, 10:30 - 11:35 is our service.
(and 6:30 service)
Older youth (yr 10+) meet at 5:45pm on Sundays to hang out and encourage each other, before heading to the 6:30pm service for Worship, Teaching and Community in a more informal setting, and is a great place to connect with God.
Hubs - The Training Ground
Tuesday from 6:30pm
Hubs is where we go deep as God’s family, being real, supporting each other, looking at what’s important. 6.30 - 8pm for years 7-8, 6.30 - 8.30pm for years 9+.
All our youth workers are fully DBS checked and are vetted and trained to ensure maximum child safety in all our activities. Volunteers serving with the youth team may escalate concerns to the Youth Pastor – Pete Allen or to the safeguarding team.
We take the safety of children and vulnerable adults seriously, to report suspicions or concerns to our Safeguarding team you should follow this link to Safeguarding page.
